Your First Visit
Your initial appointment will take an hour and a half. A member of our front-office team will review your paperwork when you arrive and discuss the reasons for your visit. For your convenience, new patient forms are available online. Please print them, complete the information, and bring the forms to your first visit. This will save you time during the check-in process. We’ll escort you to a treatment room, where you’ll meet your dentist and receive a thorough dental exam.
Your Exam
Dr. Musso will review your medical history and discuss problems you’re currently experiencing, if any. He’ll check your teeth for decay and assess the integrity of existing dental work. An examination of your gums will tell Dr. Musso if you have periodontal (gum) disease. According to the Food and Drug Administration, 75% of all Americans over 35 have some form of this bacterial infection. You’ll also receive an oral cancer screening.
We’ll take a set of digital X-rays and use an intraoral camera to obtain pictures inside your mouth. These images are invaluable diagnostic tools and help Dr. Musso explain his findings and treatment suggestions.
A hygienist will clean your teeth following your exam or at a subsequent appointment.

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Third-party financing is available through CareCredit and ChaseHealthAdvance. Visit their websites to learn more and to fill out an online application.

Our dentists are preferred providers for Delta Dental. We electronically file all dental insurance claims as a courtesy and work with insurance companies to maximize patient benefits and expedite processing.
